Trees and Butterflies

Isn't this a fun playroom decorated with tree decals and butterflies from Pottery Barn Kids?

Construction Paper Art

Pottery Barn Kids has new A to Z shelving, but what really caught my eye was the construction paper art in simple white frames.

Wall Cubbies

Here is a good place to store the piggy bank, clock, lotion--all the things you don't want Baby Fingers Malone to get into. These patterned wall cubbies are $12-$24 at Pottery Barn Kids.

Kiva Loans

My sweet baby has quite an impressive lending profile at Kiva. Here is one of her latest new friends, Lidia from Yunguyo-Puno, Peru. Lidia sells clothing and fruit at the market, but wants to expand her business to include bedding. For a loan of just $25, which is returned to you to reloan or withdraw, you can give a boost to the world's entrepreneurs.

Kitchen Bowls

Look how cute! The mixing bowls are all nested together in this play kitchen sold at Dutch site Buisjes en Beugels.

Cardboard Playhouse

OK, maybe this cardboard playhouse decorated with shingles of book pages wouldn't stand up to long term play, but it sure looks like fun to make and fun to play in. (via Orange Beautiful)

Tiny Letter

Lea Redmond runs the World's Smallest Postal Service, and for only $3, she'll write a little tiny letter with a message in it. Perfect for when the Tooth Fairy visits! (via More Ways to Waste Time)

Paper Airplanes

Canon's web site features all kinds of fun, free patterns for crafts you can print at home, including these colorful paper airplanes. (via How About Orange)

Baby Hedgehog

Who knew little baby hedgehogs were so cute? This photo is from Riude's Flickr photostream.

Eyelet Slip

I think this cotton eyelet slip for toddlers is so sweet, even just to wear on its own while running around barefoot in the grass. It is $29.50 at Hanna Andersson.

Handlebar Child Carrier

And to go with the new bike, I ordered this iBert safe-T-seat, which is supposed to fit kids up to 42 inches tall and up to 38 pounds. I can't wait to see the smile on Fruity's face when we're cruising!

Yellow Bicycle

Doesn't this yellow bicycle just make you giddy?! I've been meaning to buy a bike so I can take Little Bootie on a spin around the trails in our neighborhood, and once I spotted the Electra Amsterdam Classic Cruiser on girl meets glamour, I knew it was the one.

Vintage Vogue Art

Wow! Nothing like starting the little lady off early with a glamorous vintage Vogue print. This kimono-clad woman riding a white peacock was created by artist George Wolfe Plank and was on the cover of the April 1, 1918 issue. This print is $225 at the Condé Nast Store along with many other works of art from their magazine archives. (via Design*Sponge)

Watercolor Alphabet Cards

Z is for Zebra. So pretty! I love these watercolor alphabet cards from Etsy seller floradouville, $20 each or three for $50. (via Cookie)

Watermelon Pincushion

These sweet little watermelon pincushions from etsy seller loveforever would make pretty toy food playthings too. (via Creature Comforts)

Maze Door Chain

Aw, I wish I'd known about this Defendius Door Chain before I child proofed everything. This would have done the trick!

3D Drawing Pad

Neato! This 3D drawing pad is only $5.95 at The Spoon Sisters.

Dachshund Toy

I love it when people make crafty things and sell them to those of us who aren't as unlazy. Etsy seller aliceapple makes these little stuffed doggies and sells them from her cottage in England. (via decor8)

Maive

Isn't this just the most gorgeous photo? This is Maive from mistybliss's Flickr photostream. (via Creature Comforts)
