Why limit your baking to the shapes of cookie cutters? Make free-form shapes like Caroline Swift, and then you can eat the scenery! (via Design*Sponge)

Wrapped in Doilies
Now for more belated (or super-duper early) Christmas goodness. Note to self: wrap gifts in doilies. (via the style files)
Faces Gift Label
This clever gift label can be used on presents throughout the year. You just draw your face and the face of the recipient. Can you imagine the fun it would be to interpret a whole bunch of face drawings under the Christmas tree? It is a free download from Martha Stewart. (via Tangled and True)
Dollhouse Christmas Tree

Merry Christmas! Am I first? I was so organized before Halloween, having Fruity's costume ready a month early. And then the rest of the holidays were a blur. This felt dollhouse tree goes on my list for next time. (via Ohdeedoh)
Cashmere Pompom Scarf

So sweet. This blush pink cashmere pompom scarf by Mor Mor Rita is on sale for $41.00 at Tiny McSmall. There is a cute matching hat too.

Envelope Patterns

Junk mail is exciting now! After seeing this fascinating collage at inchmark, I've begun collecting security envelope patterns in preparation for a little art project that Sugarboot and I can do together. Here is another mesmerizing collection on Flickr.
Ocean Waves Dresser

Pretty ocean waves on this dresser from Etsy seller chromalab remind me of those theatrical sets with turbulent waves on springs. (via Design*Sponge)

Animals Silhouette
Look at the animals listening to bear in Michael Schwab's Storytime print. Put this in a nursery and there is nothing sweeter.
Cardboard City

How do you like this crazy cardboard city by artist Ana Serrano? Some boxes, some paint, plus little magazine cutouts of windows and people, and you've got yourself a six-foot tall sculptural wonderland. (via Ohdeedoh)
Wood Motor Home

I just impulse bought this! I paused for a second and considered a 24-hour waiting period, but then I decided that I would love it just as much tomorrow. Why? It is the perfect non-plastic blend of my two favorite toys when I was little: the Barbie camper and the Adventure People TV crew van. This motor home by Plan Toys has free shipping at Moolka.

Magazine Art Peacock

Look how pretty! This peacock is just one of artist Rebecca Peragine's designs. Get some scissors and magazines and see what you can do. (via decorology)
Mini Art Collage

This collage of Mini's masterpieces is a great idea, but I can't get on board with a price tag in the thousands for this service. I think equally fantastic results are achievable at home. Just shrink them and stick them and let them shine. (via Tiny Décor)

Cookie Gift Box

Look what Martha dreamed up. You can print these little townhouse boxes for cookies or other small gifts. Maybe it even fits with your HO scale model railroad.

Mismatched Sheets

Whenever I'm in doubt, I select pale blue. Everything Noodlebunny wears and holds and sleeps on is pale blue. But lately, I've been thinking a riot of color is in order, and so I'm drawn to this artful arrangement of mismatched sheets at scrumdillydilly. When my brother and I were little, we had Snoopy sheets and Mickey Mouse pillows. (via shelterrific)
Quilling
If you were a sweet tiny little baby, wouldn't you love to stare up at this all day? Yulia Brodskaya created this beautiful piece with bits of curled paper, an art form called quilling. I only recently noticed that it says, "Bye." Bye quilling, you're pretty. (via This is Glamorous)

Candy Table
Snowball Art

Aw, why didn't I think to take a falling snowball picture like this one by Jakob Hunosøe when we had all our Seattle snow? Sugarlump did make an 11-inch snowman though, and he was pretty cute. (via d i a n a : m u s e)

Cardboard Suitcases

Aren't these little paper suitcases from Sundance Catalog cute? They range in price from $48 to $78 and are made in the Czech Republic from nickel and recycled cardboard. I'd been looking for somewhere to store doll clothes.

Dutch Hedgehog

How come Europe gets all the cute hedgehog kid stuff? Do hedgehogs not even live in the States? This cute hedgehog at HEMA is 4.95 in whatever kind of money they use in the Netherlands. Kroner? Or is that Danish? Are they on the euro system? I'm off to Wikipedia to solve all these mysteries.... No hedgehogs in North America, Danish kroner, and yes, Dutch guilder was replaced by the euro in 2002. (via Babyccino)
Orange Tea Jacket

I just bought this tea jacket for Sugarboot. It was on sale for $29 at Happy Chickadee. I think I got the last orange one, but they still have blue and pink. I hope it looks as lovely in person, and it wasn't just this gorgeous photo I fell in love with.
