Cardboard Horse Stampede

What child wouldn't love drifting off to sleep gazing at stampeding horses? Instructions for making this paper parade are at design*sponge.

Richard Scarry Birthday Party

So cute! Holly of stitch/craft gave her son a Busytown 5th birthday and made stuffed Lowly Worms as party favors. Check out her blog for more craft projects that fit the theme. (via ohdeedoh)

Baby Blue Girl's Room

I just love baby blue for girls! And the wide moulding on the floor is great too. This gorgeous room was created by Lotus Bleu Design in San Francisco. (via spearmint baby)

Garden Party Birthday

This photo of a garden party from Mark Scott Photography just makes me swoon! What a lovely place for a birthday. (via dwellings and decor)

Wooden Trade Tokens

These wooden trade tokens from Leafcutter Designs have historical roots and celebrate simple gifts of love, especially in a tough economy. But I'm loving them because Sweet Baby is obsessed with putting money in her piggy bank and mouth, and real money is too small and dirty and chokable and fake money is too plastic. These wooden coins look larger and cleaner and happier, and you can buy them for just 75 cents each or even have your own design custom made. (via More Ways to Waste Time)

Hippo Backpack Kit

Look at this cute blue hippo with his teeth hanging out. He is just one of the knitting kits you can buy from Morehouse Farm yarns. (via Cookie)

My Parents Were Awesome

This is Joe, featured on the fascinating blog My Parents Were Awesome, where people can submit photos of their own cool parents. (via automatism)

Mixed Prints Twin Beds

I love the mix of colors and prints in this room with twin beds from Southern Accents magazine, especially the double layers on the bed ruffles. (via ohdeedoh)

Handmade Dolls

These handmade dolls from Etsy seller krakracraft are so adorable and really quite affordable at $29.00. Each one seems to have its own charming personality. (via Sweet Sweet Life)

Baby Hammock Swing

I took a little time off and grew a baby! Woohoo! Excellent work, old body (and team of doctors)! I also discovered Nova Natural, a toy catalog and site that has a bunch of neat stuff you don't see everywhere. I really like this baby hammock (for a real live baby). It is kind of pricey at $110 for the hammock and another $124 for the stand, but it sure beats that plastic swing I've been storing in my closet.
