Goldfish Hair Clips

These goldfish ribbon hair clips are irresistible. They're handmade and only $2, so why even try?

Balloon Cards

I just keep staring at these colorful balloon cards from Kate's Paperie. They are $16 for 12 flat cards that you can run through your printer. I didn't know I needed them until I saw them.

Bunny Bags

This bunny bag party favor idea from Good Housekeeping is so simple for Easter or any time of year when you need some cute bunnies around. You just trim white bags to make shorter bunnies and slip a second bag over a filled bag, then add features out of colored paper and stick a cotton ball tail on the back. Love it! Alphabet Typeface Book

Alphabeasties by Sharon Werner looks like the perfect book for learning letters of the alphabet, and this octopus of Os is amazing. I just ordered it from the library. (via Junior Society)

Dr. Seuss Mural

That is one talented husband who can paint a mural like this, seen on Ohdeedoh. Nice inspirational Dr. Seuss quote too!

Kozmik Thunder Jacket

Someone is going to get hurt running around in this superhero hoodie from My Rocking Wardrobe that zips up right over the face. But it's so cool! It has a lightning bolt on the back too. (via Bloesem Kids)

Paper Party Boats

Jurianne Matter from Holland makes the sweetest little wish boats. You write a little message inside each boat before folding. So cute for a party! (via simplesong)

Love Song Bird Note

Really sweet note card with a birdie singing a love song over at RUBYrecycled on Etsy!

Family Tree Fan Chart

This ten generation genealogy fan chart is what you need when you start digging into your family history. I remember growing up and starting at the blanks in mine, the blanks which still motivate me to keep on digging. So many sweet old names to consider for today's babies. Experience Wise? That is my favorite ancestor. The fan chart is only $6 at ancestorstuff.com.

Ruffle Stripe Dress

So cute! I love the play of stripes in this cotton jersey Poppy dress from Olive Juice. It comes in other colors too. Their clothes are the best quality, and they're always having sales, so get on their email list!

Airplane Birthday Party

What a fabulous airplane-themed birthday party! The table is a runway and the cake is coming in for a landing. (via little. lovely.)

San Francisco 1906

I just find this film so mesmerizing. It was shot from a streetcar on Market Street just four days before the San Francisco earthquake in 1906. In a time before stoplights and crosswalks and lines on the road, pedestrians, horses, automobiles, and streetcars navigate like ants in a colony. And cars are slow enough for kids to run and grab onto them. This chaos is so beautiful and that the people are blissfully unaware of the coming chaos makes it sad too.

Garden Game

I just got this Gathering a Garden board game after seeing it on Ohdeedoh, and it is really cute. It says for ages 5+, but my 3-year-old was able to play it with a little help. The players roll the die and walk around the board to collect things for their gardens: a flower, an herb, and so on. The only thing that makes it a little hard for littler ones is that you are supposed to roll an exact number to collect your garden piece, so that makes the game last a long time. Rules are meant to be fudged when attention spans dwindle, I say. The illustrations are really sweet and the cardboard is nice and thick. I love it.
